Appraisal Resources, LLC, a residential and commercial appraisal company, has been serving the area’s largest lenders, as well as transfer companies, funding companies and private individuals, since 1977.
Our area of operation covers most counties in New York State (see map), and our appraisers provide quick, efficient and courteous service in a professional manner. With our 175+ years of collective appraisal experience, we can solve even the most difficult appraisal problem.
In 2007 the company was aqcuired by Bruce Piraino and Bill McEvoy. Bill and Bruce have expanded the coverage area to the largest it has been in the company's history.
In 2008, to accomidate the quickly expanding business, the company moved from its head quarters in Schenectady to Scotia.
Our office is fully staffed 5 days a week from 9am to 5pm. The ARL computer system is able to provide reports to our customers in whatever manner suits your needs.
Research and market data is obtained through multiple MLS systems, services that provides assessors’ records of each county we work in, access to the New York State Office of Real Property Services (NYSORPS), and our own extensive files of 100,000+ appraisals in Upstate New York.
Our Chief Commercial Appraiser is James M. Zasada, a New York State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (#46000004777). Mr. Zasada has 31 years of experience in the appraisal field with specialties in Expert Witness and Tax Challenge cases. William McEvoy, Jr. is head of the Residential Division. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the business, standardization of reports, and quality management, Bill can answer your every appraisal question.
